This was by far the best hotel we have been to in Japan!! The service was amazing, they were all so kind and so welcoming. The rooms were cosy and always very clean. They offered a cleaning service everyday which was amazing. It was in a great location, very close to everything, and was overall 10/10. The services they provided were so good, a free icypole, yakult, and free drinks every day! and the natural hot springs were so nice!! Will definitely be coming back next time!

Rooms are a bit small, but that’s every hotel in Japan. We had to take off our shoes before getting into the lobby. there are lockers for our shoes. It was the best hotel we stayed in. The onsen was really nice and clean. The food was really great. Everything was great.

What a great little hot spring hotel. It is quite close to the train station very close to the bar / restaurant area so very convenient. It is also by the bus terminal, and a large supermarket. The hotel is very clean and is all tatami so must take shoes off and put it in the shoe locker before going in. They even clean your luggage rollers so not to contaminate the tatami floor. Room isn’t big but very comfortable. The hotel onsen is the highlight; it is on the roof and has a great view of the Northern Alps. You can enjoy free ice cream afterwards too. Also the hotel offers nightly free ramen as well! This place is quite popular with backpackers.

Amazing place, the location is good quite close, 10 minutes walking, from the typical center and all the best restaurants. Special mention for the baths whose are crazy : sauna, cold and hot bath, both inside and outside part of the hot bath have a breathtaking view on the whole illuminated city by night (you can see the trains ballet). The pictures of the hotel are well below the reality, the decoration is really beautiful and relax. Unlimited free beverages and ice cream !

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Hotel is extremely clean with no shoes policy. We enjoy the onsen sessions (both hot and cold baths), the unlimited free beverages, ice cream and ramen! The quality of the complimentary items are very good as well. Hotel staff are super polite and helpful. Because of this stay, I will look out for Onyado Nono and Dormy Inn brand hotels in the future.

It is a simple hot spring hotel 5 minutes away from the station. In winter, soaking in the hot springs while looking at the sparkling mountains has a unique flavor. The breakfast is also very good. It's about a 20-minute walk from Matsumoto Castle.
